The Treasure Valley's New Subdivisions

When it comes to new construction housing in the Treasure Valley there are plenty of sites to choose from. There are subdivisions and neighborhoods in the Boise Foothills with custom luxury homes and even more, more affordable homes, in the suburban paradise of Meridian and South Boise; not to mention the chic urban oasis that is downtown Boise that has all kinds of different neighborhoods to choose from. No matter where the subdivisions are though, they will always offer residents some of the best amenities out there.

The Paramount Subdivision

Located off of Meridian Road and Chinden Boulevard in North Meridian, the Paramount subdivision is one with few, if any, equals. It is one of the most popular subdivisions in the area and is home to masterfully constructed homes, aesthetically pleasing streets and amazing amenities. However, the homes and amenities aside, location is another of Paramount's greatest assets. Paramount is built in the perfect location - it allows its residents to have easy access to many of the amenities of the rest of the valley. It is only 25 minutes from downtown Boise, 20 minutes from Nampa, and just down the street from Eagle. Not to mention it is close to grocery stores, a city library, a state park, and the City of Meridian's best dine in and take out restaurants; residents can also have easy access to the great outdoors, having the ability to explore places like the Boise Foothills, Lucky Peak Reservoir, the World Center for Birds of Prey, the Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge, and the Boise National Forest.

However, if residents don't want to go far, there are plenty of amenities to take advantage of inside the walls of the neighborhood. Paramount is outfitted with plenty of parks, paths, trees, fields, a clubhouse, pool, volleyball nets, and basketball court.

The Harris Ranch Subdivision

The Harris Ranch Subdivision is one of the most convenient and comfortable subdivisions in the City of Boise. It is a small community of smaller lots and equally small, well-designed homes. Contrary to modern trends, the Harris Ranch neighborhood is cutting back on the amount of space that a homeowner has to maintain inside the home and out. With less yardwork and less square footage to tend to there is more time to do more desirable activities.

Two of Harris Ranch's most noteworthy amenities are the nearby golf course and the Boise River that runs close by. These amenities allow for quick lunchtime golf games or easy afternoons at the river bank. However, inside Harris Ranch there are other amenities as well, like the pool, Jacuzzi and playground at the center of the neighborhood.

For more outdoor amenities, Harris Ranch residents can easily take advantage of the nearby Boise Foothills. The Foothills is the transition between city and mountainside. It is full of scenic trails, native flora and fauna, and places for photography or sightseeing. The majority of the Foothills are covered in a webbed network of trails that range from beginner to advanced in difficulty, each one the perfect way to spend an adventurous weekend or afternoon.

The Charter Pointe Subdivision

Charter Pointe is the perfect place for people looking for a tranquil and peaceful place to live. Made up of customizable ranch style homes, this neighborhood is one that doesn't allow for cookie cutter streets or impersonalized housing.

Charter Pointe is a 300+ acre development located in South Boise just south of I-84. It is home to not only great houses, but well-manicured common areas and much more.

When it comes to amenities, the residents of Charter Pointe have access to many. For instance, the Boise Towne Square Mall, a megaplex movie theater, a hospital, and even downtown Boise are just down the road. However, inside Charter Pointe there is also a tennis court, several playgrounds, and another two parks.

The Preserve Subdivision

Out of all the highly coveted subdivisions in Eagle, Idaho, one stands out above the rest - the Preserve. The homes of the Preserve are made up of homes that can accommodate any kind of indoor living thanks to their amazing amounts of square footage. Not to mention they are built to the specifications of the buyer making them all original - no cookie cutter homes.

Much like the other great subdivisions of the Treasure Valley, the Preserve is designed to offer a tranquil atmosphere. It offers this atmosphere by way of open common areas of grass with shade trees and water features. Not to mention Eagle Island State Park - a state park that offers playgrounds, leisure paths, swimming areas, and more - is just down the road.

The West Highland Subdivision

Meridian, Idaho is the third largest city in Idaho and it is home to many amazing subdivisions - the West Highland being one of them. West Highland is, like the Preserve, designed to have a relaxed atmosphere. One of the major contributors to that peaceful and relaxing atmosphere is the close proximity to the open Snake River Plain as it is built on the outskirts of the city. This location also puts the river, countless trails, and other natural getaways at the fingertips of residents.

Inside West Highland, however, there are plenty of amenities as well. For example, the West Highland community has, at their disposal, a clubhouse. Surrounding the clubhouse there is a pool and park that residents can take advantage of.

Nampa, the second largest city in Idaho, is also very close to West Highland and residents can be there in a matter of minutes. While there they can enjoy fine dining, shopping, and a number of entertainment establishments and specialty shops.
