Roaring Springs Water Park
When summer comes, it means water activities are the way to go. Meridian is home to one of the valley's only waterparks - Roaring Springs. It is a massive waterpark with every kind of attraction imaginable. It has rides that range from group slides to near vertical drops and wave pools to lazy rivers, all depending on what you want to do. It is a great place to spend an afternoon if you want to cool off and get some great food. Check it out this summer, you won't be disappointed.
This awesome game zone is located just next door to Roaring Springs and is the epitome of fun! If you like arcade style games, mini golf, bumper boats, go carts, and laser tag, then you are in the right place. Wahooz has been a valley favorite for years and has been a source of endless fun for people of all ages.
It is also the perfect place for a birthday party, pizza party, or club/ school parties. You can check them out after you head over to Roaring Springs to really make it a fun day of play.
The Village at Meridian
This exciting destination has is one of the newest attractions in the Treasure Valley and is already one of the most adored. The Village at Meridian is an open-air mall located on the corner of Eagle and Fairview. It is home to many designer and specialty stores, LA style restaurants, a bowling alley, and arcade.
Though there are many great things to enjoy at the Village, like the awesome shopping opportunities, the thing that catches most people's hearts is the classy Village Cinema. This multiscreen theater is equipped with great seats, big screens, and even a VIP section for 21-year-olds and up where you can order adult beverages, burgers, fries, and other great food.
Slanted Rock Brewery
This great new brewery is a great place to hang out and get a drink if you are of legal drinking age. It has great deals and events every day of the week including wine tasting and times to come and watch the big game. They are also home to some seasonal brews as well as many other drinks.
It is located off of Eagle and Overland in Meridian and has quickly joined the ranks of the great breweries here in the Treasure Valley.
This great establishment is one that continues to entertain and train locals and visitors alike. If you like to shoot bows and arrows, of have just wanted to try, then this is the place to go. Dead-on Archery is a place where you can go to practice your skills, learn new ones, or just have a bit of fun. They also have a store with dozens of bow gear for target shooting, hunting, and more.
Dead-On Archery has two locations in the valley: one in Meridian off of Franklin and Locust Grove and the other is in Garden City as well if you are in that neck of the woods.
If you like Nerf darts or anything like it for that matter, you are going to love Dart Warz. This is an indoor foam dart 'battlefield' where people of all ages can battle it out with harmless foam darts. The location in Meridian is one of only 4 that the Dart Warz company has in the United States. It is meant to be an all-ages alternative for Paintballing or Airsofting.
Sending an hour at Dart Warz is a good way to blow off steam, celebrate a birthday (especially with one of their birthday packages), or just have some fun. It is usually $8.00 an hour per person, however, they have special summer prices on occasions.
Parks and Community Centers
Meridian is also a community that is covered in amazing and lush parks that are ripe for enjoying. There are water parks, playground parks, sports parks, and even skate parks. Not to mention a lot of the communities have community centers with pools, parks, and sports equipment that are open for use.
